Ethics in Business
Does the organization conduct its business in a way that is life enhancing and not life degrading?
The first ethical principle suggests that the organization must create mutuality in all of its dealings.
The Samaritan Center EIB Program is entering its 6th year. We are proud to welcome the McCombs School of Business at UT and Concordia University Austin as partners.

Business and nonprofit organizations are evaluated based on conduct with key stakeholder groups including staff, customers, vendors, donors and the community.

Individual nominees should be models and mentors for others as well as leaders in their business field and/or community service.

1. Nominations – Nominations are accepted from the community at large.
2. Preliminary Interview – An interview is conducted with a designated representative from all nominees.
3. Selection Committee Decisions – The Selection Committee reviews the nominations and selects up to 15 semi-finalists across the 3 categories.
4. Semi-Finalists Research – Extensive research is conducted on all semi-finalists.
5. Final Selections – The Selection Committee reviews the research reports and selects finalists and winners in each of the 3 categories.
