The Samaritan Center has been saving lives, healing emotional wounds and giving hope to individuals and families for over 40 years. The Center’s mission is to improve the mental, physical, and spiritual health of children and families in Central Texas.

We provide professional counseling, integrative medicine, and psychiatric services that are accessible and affordable for all, especially vulnerable populations such as uninsured or underinsured low-income families, and veterans struggling with the emotional wounds of war.

We are so appreciative to have received generous funding from the Community Grant Program, made possible by support from the Deborah Ann Scott Foundation and the Berman Family Fund at Austin Community Foundation! 14th Annual Ethics in Business & Community Awards
Established in 2002 by the Samaritan Center, the Ethics in Business & Community Awards annually honor organizations and individuals that have demonstrated exemplary ethical practices in five categories. The categories are individuals, nonprofit organizations, small, mid-size and large businesses. This year’s 14th Annual Ethics in Business & Community Awards luncheon will be held on Thursday, May 19th at the AT&T Conference Center as RecognizeGood and the Samaritan Center honor Central Texas businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals for their exemplary ethical standards and behavior.
